Shellie Dansby, (Principal)
Shellie Dansby has a solid background in education with over 25 years of experience as a principal and school counselor. Ms. Dansby has a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge, and a Master ’s degree from the University of La Verne, and will graduate in 2018 with an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University in Irvine. She currently is the Coordinator of Workforce at the Learn 4 Life School.

Here at Julia Lee Performing Arts Academy, we aim to promote an inclusive, non- discriminatory learning environment. Our students are expected to adhere to a uniform dress code so that a conducive learning environment is maintained.

Hoodies can be either pullover or zip-up styles. They are often made from materials like fleece or cotton blends (sweatshirt material), emphasizing comfort and warmth.

Distinction from Jackets: While some hoodies can be worn as outerwear, they are generally not as weather-resistant as jackets/coats and are often considered more of a casual garment.
​
Fridays ONLY: Non-ripped denim jeans (any color) can be worn on Fridays along with a uniform top or JLPAA spirit day t-shirt.
