Our Story

We are a public charter school serving students of Lake Elsinore and surrounding cities. Our founder, Tanya Lee-Taylor was inspired by her great aunt's, Julia Lee, musical success and her own desire to combine top-quality education with the arts.

With the lead of our highly experienced principal, our caring staff is committed to providing a program that encourages student success.

The Charter was approved by the Riverside County Board of Education (RCBE) on April 11, 2018. Our School has been formed consistent with EC Section 47601 and/or EC Section 47604 (a), and is operated by Nonprofit, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation.

Certified Teachers

All of our teachers are state-certified. We are a friendly team of success-driven professionals, educators, and community leaders. Together, we have the common goal of encouraging and providing our children the opportunity for excellent education intertwined with performing arts.

Values-Based Education

During the past years, schools have been cutting the arts out of their programs, such as music, theater, art, and dancing. We understand the importance of performing arts in education and its positive impact on students. Our curriculum framework offers the 21st-century focus with traditional values such as:

  • Mutual Respect

  • Responsibility

  • Courage

  • Thoughtfulness

  • Integrity

High Academic Standards

High standards are valuable, they help bring out the best in us. That's why we hold all students to them, and the result is a high achievement. We challenge students to fulfill their potential by:

  • Selecting educated and empathetic teachers, and straightforward textbooks that will emphasize student understanding.

  • Keeping our educators updated and prepared with professional development and by giving them tools to teach with challenging standards.

  • Implementing new technologies that will increase learning and prepare our students for the future.

  • Having a program that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity.

  • Aiming to exceed state accountability requirements in testing.

Inclusive Classes

Students' diverse intelligence, talents, skills, interests, and backgrounds enrich our schools. We acknowledge, appreciate, and respect for students' differences. Today's classrooms are more diverse than ever. Knowing this, we strive to meet the needs of all students by using interactive, and realistic techniques and activities.
