​Immigration Enforcement Information & Family Resources

Julia Lee Performing Arts Academy is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment for all students regardless of immigration status.

In accordance with California law:

• JLPAA does not collect information regarding a student's or family's immigration status except as required by law.

• Student records are protected by state and federal privacy laws.

• School personnel follow established procedures when immigration enforcement officers seek access to campus or student information.

• JLPAA maintains policies and procedures designed to protect student privacy and educational access.

 

If Immigration Enforcement Activity Is Confirmed on Campus

JLPAA will provide notification to staff, school community members working on campus, parents, and guardians in accordance with Senate Bill 98. Notifications will include:

• Date and time of the confirmed activity;

• General location of the activity;

• Links to additional resources and applicable school policies.

No personally identifiable information will be disclosed in any notification.
